As a veteran award-winning journalist and television news producer I have spent my entire career leading teams and helping to tell some of the most important stories of our lifetime: from the Columbine School massacre, the September 11th Terror Attacks to COVID. Now more than ever, I believe helping prepare our next generation of communicators is critical. Part of my job has not only been managing under stressful, tight deadlines, but also mentoring, teaching, coaching and inspiring my team members. It is still some of the most rewarding moments of my career.
